Owner, Greg Gill has been designing gardens for over 25 years and his portfolio experience includes many high-profile and celebrity clients. We encourage all clients to be involved in the design and we simplify the process to make it easy for everyone, even if you don’t know annuals from perennials.

conceptual phase

The first step of Design.

The Conceptual Design Phase is the critical first step of design. In this step, all design elements are presented in a color-rendered plan for client review. Depending upon the project, sometimes the Conceptual Plan can be used for installation.

construction document phase

Fleshing out the Conceptual Design.

The Construction Document Phase takes the Conceptual Design and refines it with actual dimensioned plans. The plan set for Construction Documents can include a Site Plan, Planting Plan, Irrigation Plan and Construction Details Sheets.

Other Design Services we offer include the following:

• Model Water Efficiency Landscape Ordinance Submittal Documents (MWELO). “New development and retrofitted landscape water efficiency standards are governed by the Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO). The MWELO is also referenced by Title 24, Part 11, Chapters 4 and 5 CalGreen Building Code. All local agencies must adopt, implement, and enforce the MWELO or a local Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (WELO) that is at least as effective as the MWELO.” - California Department of Water Resources

• 3D Renderings. 3D modeling drawings to further visualize a project.
